Nice facility, very clean. The TSA agents are so kind and friendly. You don't need to come as early as you do for most airports in busy areas. About an hour is more than enough time to get through screening and find your gate. It took me less than 20 mins from the time I parked my car to be fully screened and sitting at the gate.

Extremely attractive and clean airport. Although that was the most intense patdown I've ever received.
Minot International Airport is one of the smallest airports that I've ever been in. You step off the plane into the terminal. About 20 steps later you are out of the terminal area and into the check-in/rental car/baggage claim area. They are currently building a new terminal that appears to be significantly larger than the current one, however that's not supposed to be done until early 2016. This is a typical mini-airport. The security line was quick, but only because there there very few people coming and going. As far as I can tell, flights are basically back and forth to Minneapolis.
I do wish their parking was covered though.
After you pass security, there is a single food option - "The Hanger Snack Bar." One plus - if you get a beer at the hanger snack bar, you can drink it anywhere past security (this is still a small area). I posted a picture with some prices. It's still $3 for a bottle of coke, but I suppose they have to make $ somehow! The people are generally friendly and it's moderately easy to get in and out of, but the current setup leaves something to be desired. I'd still fly in and out of here, but it's certainly nothing to write home about.
