I immediately scheduled another appointment for treatment on my other foot. I can definitely tell the difference in my feet! I can walk normally (at least on the foot she worked on) and stand up without the excruciating pain!
I recently tried some advice and saw Rachelle at Spectrum Fitness for an orthopedic massage. After her magically hands did their work on my foot and calf, I was able to stand up on my foot WITHOUT ANY PAIN!!! On a pain scale from 1-10 I was basically at a 15. As I would compare walking to "walking on bloody stumps". After the one hour of therapy on my calf and foot, I immediately was at a 1 meaning no pain at all!! AMAZING!
Michael Sian is extremely humble and welcoming. He immediately made me feel comfortable with stepping onto the mat with his students. The instructions and techniques he taught were also very understandable and repeatable based on of his very clear explanations. I'm a firm believer that you can be an amazing BJJ Practitioner, but that doesn't make you a good BJJ Instructor. Michael Sian is both. I absolutely love how he continuously educates his students to incorporate their martial arts philosophies into their own lives. It was very humbling to train with him.
Fantastic! During my work trip to the local area, I dropped in to get some training in. I travel all over the U.S. for work, so I have the pleasure of visiting a lot of different Jiu Jitsu Schools (Jiu Jitsu being my current Martial Art of Focus).
Spectrum, in comparison to many, is phenomenal. The key components to having a valuable BJJ School are: Quality of Instruction, Quality of Students, Cleanliness of training area, and personability of all instructors/mentors.
His students: One thing I see all the time is that the students do not take the time to welcome new students, "first timers", or drop-ins onto the mat. I was actually flooded with "welcomes" once I stepped on. They all did an amazing job making me feel like I was part of their Martial Arts Family. When training with the students, I never felt like a "target" for them to try their newly learned techniques on. Trust me, it's very common for new students to become targets for other more-seasoned students to try their techniques on and give themselves an ego boost. I firmly believe that doesn't happen at this school and should you never fear training Jiu Jitsu of being injured. They all train safely.
I wanted to make it public my gratefulness for Rachelle Sian at Spectrum Fitness Minot and Rachelle Sian, Massage Therapy.
Facility: Though the facility is smaller than most, it had all the necessary amenities for me to be able to change, use the restroom, and get ready for class. Each of the amenities and training areas were all very clean and accessible.
If I lived in this area, this would be my school of choice for myself and my family. Looking forward to when I get back into town to train here again!
I have been dealing with Plantar fasciitis for over two years now! I have seen numerous doctors, the podiatrist, & home remedies. Including icing, stretching, medications such as prednisone, corticosteroids and 800 mg ibuprofen. NOTHING has worked!
I am so grateful that words can not express my gratitude to her! Thank you Rachelle and I will definitely send anyone I can your way and love Spectrum Fitness!
They get 10/10 Stars in all the categories.
