The food is good better than subway. But the store has a horrible layout. You're always bumping into people trying to move around the restaurant.tge staff doesn't smile or greet you as you come in. The staff also has no sense of urgency the service is horribly slow almost a half hour wait for 2 sandwiches.
I’ve been a huge fan of Firehouse Subs for more than a decade, and have visited stores in multiple states. Unfortunately, this is the most poorly run store I’ve ever been too. While the food is mostly on par, the service is lacking. I’ve submitted online orders that were never received. I’ve had employees argue with me that the engine company and the engineer are the same—they are not. Today no one welcomed us with “Welcome to Firehouse!” The guy taking our order didn’t ask if we wanted white or wheat or fully involved, and I could barely hear my name being called when my food was ready.
I wanted to find out what the hype was about and with most things expectations should have been tapered. It's a standard sandwich place nothing bad , nothing great. Prices were a bit high but otherwise nothing special. Decent food, decent customer service. Cleanliness is above par though...so kudos to the staff.
Food is so good. It is the only sandwich place I will go and I don't like sandwiches!
It would be 5 stars, but this place has been out of things at least the last 3 out of 4 times we've visited (bread for large sandwich-you can't make it out of some combo of small&med? Brisket, wheat bread, med cups/lids). The food is amazing, though & the staff has always been good.
